Zoom workshop – Thursday the 16 September 7.30 – 9pm GMT
Have you ever looked up close at the beautiful details of seashells when walking on the beach? In particular the natural world here in the very north, on the islands of Orkney is covered in beautiful shells. From periwinkle to scallop, oyster to limpet each shell has distinctive markings, colours and shapes.
This one and a half hour workshop session takes you through the basics of drawing, using a pencil and pen to create the shapes you see and discovering texture. Plus this month we are adding some colour to our sketches using watercolour paints to enhance our drawings. Whether you want to draw shells or you are after a mindful, fun drawing session which increases your skill and knowledge, this illustrative class is jam packed with tips to build confidence.
